PostHeaderIcon One Event Can Change Your Life

From Kim Mylls, Co-Creator of Boys Before Business

There were ten of us in a circle on the last day of a week long Jack Canfield event one summer not too long ago.

Jen and I looked across the circle and something clicked.  I liked what she said. She liked what I was saying, so much so that mid-sentence Jen blurted out, “I’d like you to be my accountability partner.”  I said yes instantly, not even knowing what she wanted in a partner.

What happened that week changed everything for me and our partnership was the icing on the cake.  Together we wrote a book and are now on a mission to empower millions of women.  The book has been just the beginning.

The results of that week were beyond any of my expectations.  Here’s the short list of what happened:

  • I met the man of my dreams shortly after that event. Three months later we were engaged and nine months later we were married
  • I fulfilled a life long dream of writing a book
  • I created another business with a person I met at the event
  • I improved every relationship in my life
  • I used the same tools and techniques in my everyday business and was able to teach and train and inspire my team to reach their goals

What are your dreams?  Have you given up on them?

What haven’t you been able to achieve on your own?

What’s stopping you?

Who is in your circle of influence?  Are you spending time with people who lift you up or bring you down?

If you are serious about achieving your dreams, you have to go to this event.

Of the 400 people who were there, I stay personally connected with more than 100. Each of them have done things that they never thought possible and have made their lives extraordinary.  I know I can reach out to any one of them at any time and get the support I need.  Now that is powerful!

Do what you can to go to this event.  Make any sacrifices you have to so you can attend. This week will change your life for the better.  It was the best investment I could make for both my personal and professional life.

You are worth it and you deserve to have it all!

PostHeaderIcon Do Vision Boards Really Work?

visionboard2

There has been a lot of talk about Vision Boards ever since the movie, The Secret, came out a few years ago.

So do visions boards really work?

How is it possible that by creating a visual representation of what you want, it can become a reality?

It sounds a little too good to be true and frankly, a tad unrealistic. We both questioned this for some time and then we tested it. Now we know that Vision Boards do work and we have the results to prove it.

Here are two examples of what happened for us:

(1) Kim wrote her Dear God Letter and got really clear about what she wanted in her Man. She found pictures of happy couples and she made sure that she had a picture of a couple in wedding clothes. She put those pictures on a Vision Board and today she is married.

(2) Jen and her honey, David, wanted to adopt kittens, but not just any kittens. They found a picture of the the kitties they wanted. Sure enough, when they got a call from the rescue agency, the kittens looked exactly like the picture they had cut out of a magazine.

Coincidence? We don’t think so.

Vision Boards are based on the Law of Attraction which states that we receive what we focus on, whether positive or negative. Vision boards take the Law of Attraction one step further. By defining what your dreams are and putting them in picture form, you in turn give yourself increased focus and clarity.

Vision Boards can be powerful when you attach your feelings to the vision of what you want and act as if your dreams have already come true.

Not sure if this still sounds impossible? Find out for yourself by joining us on a FREE teleclass to learn how you can create one for yourself and discover other ways it can work for you in your life. It is a positive way to spend an hour that could change your life.

We want you to get results and we know this call will help you get the results you want. Register http://bit.ly/cOIFbb

PostHeaderIcon Which Single Celeb Will Really Have It All?

reese-witherspoonBoys Before Business has gone on a single celebrity girl watch to determine which famous gal will breakthrough and finally have it all this summer.

Co-authors Jennifer S. Wilkov and Kimberly Mylls will be keeping an eye out for who’s practicing their Boys Before Business philosophy, “You can have a great life and you can have a great love, when you decide what you want and put your relationship first.”

From Jessica Simpson to Jennifer Aniston and Drew Barrymore to Reese Witherspoon, the co-authors say they’ll be watching and cheering them on.

“We want them to be happy and finally have it all. We’re excited to have other women see celebs practicing what we teach. It’s really rewarding,” say Wilkov and Mylls.

Boys Before Business will acknowledge celebs who follow the philosophy with the Have It All Award.

In their #1 spot right now is “Bachelorette” Ali Fedotowsky. On the first episode of this season’s show on ABC Television, Ali says love not work is number one on her agenda. “I definitely have a lot of regret,” she says of her decision to leave Jake Pavelka (last year on “The Bachelor”) to return to her job — one she’s now quit! “I’m ready to move forward,” she swears. “Bring on those boys. I’m excited. “She’s hoping her journey will end “with tears in my eyes and I’m looking at a man down on one knee, asking me to be his wife.”

In the third episode last week while on her date with Hunter, Ali admits that she has been so career-driven in the past, perhaps because of watching her Dad give up a lot to support her Mom’s nursing career when she was younger and not focusing on his own career. She then saw their relationship end in a divorce. She says she has had a hard time giving her career up for love. She agrees when Hunter suggests that she has her own plans for life and that she doesn’t want to mess that up.

The co-authors say that they know it’s scary for every woman to open their hearts to the love they’ve only dreamed of. Loving your career and being able to share your success with your Mr. Right is a dream come true, whether you’re a celebrity girl or not. They say they are certain that it’s possible for every woman that truly wants to succeed with both boys and business to finally have it all.

Stay tuned to the Boys Before Business blog at www.boysbeforebusiness.com/blog to find out who will win the first award.

PostHeaderIcon Miami Mystery

Last month we had a great time in Miami, however there was one mystery that still remains . . .

While sitting in the green room at WSFL for an appearance on The Morning Show, the producer told us that the copy of the “Boys Before Business” book that she received from our publicist to give to the on-air host Kristin Anderson had gone missing.

She said she sent emails and made several announcements asking to get the book back… and no one fessed up.

Not to worry though, we came to the station for our interview prepared with copies of the book.  We hope the person who snagged the book is having great luck with boys and business and is maybe even following Kristin’s advice of putting the book under her pillow.

See our great Girlie Chat with Kristin during our interview here: http://southflorida.sun-sentinel.com/videobeta/f680cd80-6c07-4a42-905a-a301fe94ecf8/News/Boys-Before-Business.

Since we have been on the show, @HostessKristin has tweeted us that she is almost finished reading the book and she said it’s FABULOUS!  Thanks Kristin!

PostHeaderIcon ABC’s “Bachelorette” Picks Boys Before Business

aliLast year on ABC’s hit show The Bachelor, audiences were disappointed when one of their favorite women, Ali Fedotowsky, left the show because her job was calling.

At the time, Ali told Jake that although she was falling in love with him, she couldn’t stay.  She picked her career over the possibility of love.

Fast forward to this season’s The Bachelorette and we find a wiser Ali who is back.

According to ABC online they say, “This time, love not work, is number one on her agenda.

“I definitely have a lot of regret,” she says of her decision to leave Jake Pavelka to return to her job — one she’s now quit! “I’m ready to move forward,” she swears. “Bring on those boys. I’m excited.”

She’s hoping her journey will end “with tears in my eyes and I’m looking at a man down on one knee, asking me to be his wife.”

During the first episode, Ali talks about her decision and admits she made the wrong choice. She says she won’t make that mistake again and that she is making finding true love her priority.

She now realizes the importance of putting relationships first. Those 25 men who are vying for her love can rest assured that her priorities are in order and that she will be making them number one.

Our guess is once she decides on her dream man, she will soar even higher in her career.

See for yourself.

PostHeaderIcon Shed Your Skin & Come Alive for Summer Relationships

Codie HughesIt’s time to break out your flip flops, shorts, skirts, white pants and sleeveless tops… and get ready for some summer lovin’!

June is a great month to do some shedding.

Shedding makes room in your body, mind and space for new love, new energy and new adventures.

Here are some easy tips to freshen up your life & love style for summer this month:

1) For the Body

Schedule a day at the spa. Grab your girlfriends and make a day of it. Be sure to book a full body exfoliation treatment to shed that old skin off and brighten up and tighten up the vibrant skin below that’s ready to shine. Look fabulous and feel great for your summer love.

2) For the Mind

Take a good look at your time and money. Time to eliminate the activities that you’re not loving to free up funds and hours for new fun with friends and business colleagues.

Do your finances need to freshen up? Take time this month to clean up your personal and professional accounts.

These activities will all serve to make lots of room in your mind to focus on building better relationships.

3) For Your Space

Shed your stuff and air out your space.

Got boxes around from a move you recently made?

Have a drawer that you filled up with those famous words: “I’m gonna…”?

Got a handbag you need to empty out from changing quickly to a new purse so you could match your new Spring outfit?

It’s time to spruce up your desk, drawers and domicile. Breathe some new energy into your life and space… and open yourself up for new possibilities.

Shed and let go of what you no longer need.

When you do, you’ll make more room for him and the relationships that really count.

Sex and the City opens this weekend!

This is a great time to grab your girlfriends for some good ole fashion Girlie Fun.  The women of Sex in the City are on a constant quest to have it all.

They are all strong women who know what they want and who go after their dreams.  They each have different goals, dreams and personalities but they also have a very important common value, they put their relationships first.  They take time for each other and are there for each other for the good times and bad.

Having these relationships have made them all more successful in their personal romantic relationships as well as their professional lives.  They have all had their ups and downs but they have managed to come through with shining colors.  We know it’s a movie and not real life, but why can’t it be. When you put relationships first you can have the Hollywood movie ending.

Think about the relationships in your life and how they have enhanced your days, months and years.  Relationships are truly what make you rich.  Have fun at the movies and afterward decide what it is you want and go for it.
